Michelle Alexis

Michelle Baham has been a dedicated fitness instructor for 28 years, holding certifications in Pilates, Aquatic Instruction, Personal Training, Aerobics, and Golf Conditioning. Her introduction to Pilates 25 years ago left a lasting impression, as it proved to be an invaluable tool for rehabilitation during post-natal periods and injury recovery. Drawing from her personal experience, she successfully rehabbed her broken foot and shoulder injury through a combination of Pilates, water exercises, and strength training.
Inspired by her clients' passion for golf, Michelle developed an interest in Golf Conditioning, recognizing the essential physical traits required for golfers to consistently perform at their best, including strength, power, flexibility, balance, core stability, and body awareness.
Recognizing the benefits of water's low-impact nature and the comfort it provides, especially for her prenatal clients in Bermuda's warm climate, Michelle pursued certifications in aquatic exercise. She enjoys teaching a variety of water-based classes, including water aerobics, water Pilates, and sport-specific training. Her passion for aquatic exercise is further fueled by the enjoyable and refreshing experience it offers participants, particularly during warmer weather.
Michelle is committed to working with clients of all body types and has an extensive background in assisting those with injuries and special populations. She emphasizes the importance of educating her clients on increasing their body awareness, focusing on core control and functional movement patterns to improve overall strength, reduce injuries, and prepare the body for life's demands. Additionally, she has experience working with pregnant women up until delivery.
